Lovely little place with loads of character, great food and a super friendly owner, who's pretty eco-friendly. Their called and pies are all handmade, and very tasty. They were also very Covid19-prepared, with non-plastic takeaway boxes, and no disposable chopsticks

This café has a cozy, charming atmosphere with cute details. While the cake was enjoyable, the standout for me was the homemade ginger ale. It had a perfect balance of spice and sweetness, making it a delightful drink.

Very charming cafe. The food is very tasty and has a home cooked feeling to it. They even make their own homemade desserts. We go there for lunch quite often, and it’s always different; one dish with rice, and another with bread (which is also lovely).

Happened to find this cafe randomly on maps and it was definitely a delightful find. The cafe is not far from the station, but off the main roads, so it's not too crowded. The cafe has a cottage feel when you walk up and feels super cozy when you walk inside. The owner (I assume, nobody else was there working when I went) was very welcoming and sweet. The whole cafe has a warm atmosphere. My friend and I shared the carrot cake and persimmon cheesecake. It was my first time to have persimmon and cheesecake together. I regret not buying the other piece. The carrot cake was also delicious. It's been a while since I've had decent carrot cake. The frosting was also spot on. All the sweets are homemade and I think that also adds to the charm of this cafe. If you're around Akabane station I highly recommend visiting Cafe Koneru.
